Snow and hail expected on hills above 500 feet
A new yellow weather warning has been issued for wintry showers and ice.
It came into affect at 12pm and will be in place until midday tomorrow (7 January).
The Ronaldsway Met Office says generally the hills above about 500 feet will be where further accumulations of snow and hail occur (1-7cm) with always an ice risk on the higher parts.
Lower down any accumulations will be small but coverings are possible anywhere (most likely with any overnight hail showers).
Road temperatures lower down will mainly stay above zero, except where any accumulations do occur.
Mountain Road & Sloc
Meanwhile, the Mountain Road is to stay closed between Ramsey and the Creg Ny Baa until tomorrow.
It's been shut since Saturday night due to snow and ice.
The Department of Infrastructure has issued a notice which shows the closure staying in place until midday on Tuesday, at least.
The Sloc/ Shoulder Road is also closed for snow and ice until at least 4:30pm today (6 January).
