Small risk of inner harbour flooding
A yellow weather warning for coastal overtopping is in place tonight from 11.30pm until 2am.
Some water and a little debris on exposed roads and promenades are to be expected due to southerly winds coinciding with high tide tonight.
Areas affected will be Shore Road, Port Erin, central and northern parts of Douglas promenade, Castletown promenade and to a lesser extent Laxey and Ramsey promenades.
There's also a small risk of a little inner-harbour flooding in the lowest-lying places tonight including West Quay in Ramsey, and the Tongue in Douglas.
The Isle of Man Met Office says flood defences should also be deployed for Back Hope Street in Castletown.
