Waves expected to affect coastal routes either side of high tide
A yellow weather warning will come into force this afternoon with coastal overtopping expected.
Ronaldsway Met Office says the strong south-southeast winds will lead to minor overtopping a few hours either side of high tide.
The alert will be in place from 2.15pm until 6.15pm.
The areas most likely to be affected are Castletown promenade, Shore Road in Rushen, the central and northern parts of Douglas promenade, as well as Laxey and Ramsey promenades.
