Forecasters warn it could be further extended
A yellow weather warning has been issued for ice this evening (18 November).
Forecasters at Ronaldsway Met Office say it will mainly affect the eastern, southern and central parts of the island, particularly the central valley and on the Mountain Road.
The warning comes into effect at 6pm and will remain in place until 10am tomorrow (19 November).
This evening, air temperatures will fall close to zero.
Following showers today and still with some surface water on the roads, there is a risk that these wet/damp areas will turn icy.
Northern and western parts of the island should be at a lower risk.
Looking to tomorrow, temperatures will remain cold throughout the day, and forecasters say the warning 'may require extending'.
