Manx political committee structure under scrutiny
The Island’s political committee structure will be scrutinised today.
A Tynwald committee is assessing the effectiveness or otherwise of a range of bodies formed with Tynwald approval.
This morning it will hear evidence from the chairman and vice chairman of the Public Accounts Committee, Alfred Cannan and Geoff Corkish; Dudley Butt and Michael Coleman - chairmen past and present of the Economic Policy Review Committee – and Roger Tomlinson from the Positive Action Group.
The hearing, in the Legislative Council Chamber, starts at ten thirty this morning.
