The inter-Celtic festival Yn Chruinnaght gets underway today (Sat)
The festival, whose name means "the gathering" in English, was revived in 1978 by the late Mona Douglas and has gone from strength to strength over the years.
It celebrates Manx art, music and culture and its similarities with cultures in other places, particularly those with a Celtic Heritage.
Yn Chruinnaght Committee member and Manx Radio presenter Bob Carswell says there's going to be plenty for everyone today as the week-long festival gets underway.
