A local young actor has turned playwright for an upcoming show about the Laxey Mines this month.
Orry Wilson's play 'In their blood' will take place in 1833 and is about life in the mining communities.
It explores themes of ambition, love, betrayal and the harsh realities of the mines.
Orry is set top depart for drama college later this year.
He spoke to Manx Radio alongside play director David Dawson about writing a play for the first time:
The play will take place from 14-16 August at King's Court Theatre in Castletown.
