The first candidate chosen to experience a day in the life of The Governor says it's opened her eyes to what the position involves.
Emily Bridson says she was only aware of Sir John Lorimer's ceremonial role before shadowing him.
If the internship goes well, it's hoped a new candidate aged between 19 and 25 will be chosen each month.
