Animal recovering at rehabilitation centre
A young seal which was injured after being caught in abandoned fishing gear is responding well to treatment.
That's the update from the Manx Wildlife Trust after the animal was rescued from Kirk Michael Beach last weekend.
Fishing wire had caught around the seal's neck, and it's since been recovering at a rehabiliation centre in the north of the Island.
The charity is appealing for any donations - saying it costs just £40 a week to provide the seals at the centre with fish to eat.
