Chairman pleased with make-up of meeting
The Manx Labour Party is looking forward to a busy political year, following its first meeting of 2016.
Among the topics discussed on Thursday evening were Manx Gas's pricing structure, the privatisation of the Villa Gaiety complex and free TV licences for over-75s.
Chairman David Cretney said he was also pleased to welcome some new members to the party - some of whom were young people.
He says it's crucial that 'new blood' gets involved with Manx politics:

Rapist who 'terrorised' his victim told his sentence was 'entirely justified'
Complaints process for health system changed
Discovery of oiled birds 'makes a mockery of our biosphere status'
Charges now in place for those sending parcels to the EU
