NAMA awards recognise commitment of under-25s
The dedication of the younger generation to the Island's culture and community is heartening.
That's the view Marlene Hendy, who is a member of the Department of Education, Sport and Culture.
The MLC was speaking as she announced the winners of this year's North American Manx Awards, which celebrate the achievements of the Island's under-25s in areas like the Manx language, music, and arts and crafts.
Mrs Hendy says the awards recognise the commitment of the youngsters:
