NAMA honours students' efforts
A small circle of Island pupils are fighting to keep the Manx language alive for future generations.
Gaelg is not taught as part of the national curriculum, but pupils can elect to take lessons in primary and secondary schools.
The Bunscoill Ghaelgagh in St John's features Manx heavily in teaching - and those who wish to further their study can take an equivalent GCSE qualification after Key Stage 3.
On Friday, a number of young Manx speakers were honoured for their efforts by the North American Manx Association.
