
The Island’s Home Affairs Minister says our youth justice system is performing outstandingly well as it turns young people away from crime.
Juan Watterson MHK says 75 per cent of those who see the youth justice team never reoffend – well below the UK average.
He also says the team, with workers from the police, health, social care and other organisations, has helped 85 young people to find work.
