A local charity has helped over 270 'disenfranchised' young people, since it started out in the year 2000.
The Isle of Man Youth Motor Project operates from workshops in Glencrutchery Road, Douglas teaching youngsters basic social and life skills, and training them as mechanics.
Nearly 90 per cent of those who have passed through its doors now have full-time employment which charity manager Peter Hodgson says is a major success:
