Acting under influence of substance
Police say they had to deal with a number of youths in Douglas this afternoon who had been acting violently whilst under the influence of some sort of substance.
The incident happened in Lower Dukes Road around 4.15pm.
Several vehicles were damaged and one of the youths had to be restrained due to violent behaviour.
Officers say the youths were treated as a medical emergency and were taken to Nobles Hospital for treatment.
They say in such incidents, getting medical treatment as soon as possible is their primary concern and a full investigation into the matter is ongoing.
