A Douglas business says DoI bosses didn't speak to them
There's been no communication between infrastructure bosses and a Douglas hotel, over works taking place on the prom.
That's from Nigel Fogg, who operates Cunard Apartments hotel.
He spoke this morning at the Environment and Infrastructure Policy Review Committee.
Mr Fogg listened to oral evidence given by members of the infrastructure department - but says he didn't receive a letter notifying him when the project would get underway:
Meanwhile, infrastructure bosses have conceded there is strong evidence businesses on Douglas promenade have seen significant, adverse impacts due to the ongoing refurbishment works along the route.
Minister Ray Harmer has given oral evidence to the Environment and Infrastructure Policy and Review Committee, along with his senior civil servants.
The panel heard the issue is of great concern to the department.
