Teams tackling 100-mile route in aid of The Children's Centre
A mammoth running event is taking place across the Isle of Man today all in aid of a local cause.
The 2024 Race the Sun is seeing teams cover a 100-mile route in relay groups which got underway at Peel Promenade shortly after 5am (18 May).
Squads must complete the challenge - which covers the coastal 'Raad ny Foillan' path - before the sun sets tonight at 9.22pm.
The aim of the event is to raise funds for The Children's Centre - anyone not involved directly in the race can also provide support with a donation.
