Island meeting scoops ProTyre Asphalt Rally Championship gong again
The Manx Rally has been crowned the ProTyre Asphalt Rally Championship 'Rally of the Year' for the third year in a row.
The 2025 Island meeting claimed the prize during the ProTyre Motorsport UK Asphalt Rally Championship Gala Prizegiving and Awards ceremony held at Drayton Manor Hotel in Staffordshire last Saturday (8 November).
It's after the event claimed the same prize in both 2023 and 2024.
Manx Rally Event Director, Mark Ellison, on behalf of Manx Auto Sport, says: "We are thrilled to win this award again as the standard of rallies across the championship is very high.
This is really an award for rallying on the Isle of Man in general and everyone who helped with the 2025 rally."
Meanwhile, Manx Auto Sport states the 2026 Manx Rally is currently scheduled to be held on Friday, 8 May and Saturday, 9 May next year.
It will once again form a round of the ProTyre Asphalt Rally Championship.
This year's rally saw a bumper entry with Donegal pairing, Garry Jennings and Rory Kennedy taking overall victory.
