Double bogey leads to a missed cut
Isle of Man golf professional Tom Gandy missed the cut at the British Masters at The Belfry after a double bogey on his last hole of the second round.
He needed a par 4 on the 9th but carded a 6.
Those two dropped shots were the difference between qualifying for the final two rounds.
The Rowany player had put himself in contention with a birdie on the 7th hole having started his round at the 10th.
He recorded a 73 and 74 to be 3 over par for the tournament.
One over par would have seen him make it through for the closing stages.
The British Masters is being hosted by former major winner Danny Willett
