Manx Hockey Association say decision is 'regrettable'
All hockey games due to take place on the Island today have been cancelled due to the poor weather forecasts.
The Manx Hockey Association says the decision is regrettable, but has been taken to ensure the safety of all involved.
Today's matches are hoped to be rescheduled as soon as possible.
The MHA adds - a planned minute's silence in remembrance of former chairman James Shimmin, who passed away last week, will take place next Saturday instead.
The association assures James will be remembered.
Meanwhile, all today's football matches and the sole rugby fixture scheduled between Vagabonds Hornets and Ramsey B have been called off.
