
Douglas drew 10-10 with visitors Marple at Port-e-Chee in South Lancashire/Cheshire Division Two.
Nick Horsthuis’ try put Douglas ahead and with a conversion and a penalty for Bryn Snellgrove making the score 10-0.
Marple hit back though and with 10 minutes to go the game was tied at 10 apiece.
Douglas skipper Snellgrove missed a long range penalty with the last kick of the game which would have won it for them.
