Karl Harris is to tackle the world famous Mountain Course for the first time this year.
The three-time British Supersport champion is arguably the highest-profile newcomer since Steve Plater in 2007.
Nicknamed 'Bomber', Harris will ride for SMT Honda in the Superbike, Superstock and Senior races.
Harris has spent the past few days with the likes of Richard 'Milky' Quayle driving around the course.
He says he particularly likes the run out from Ramsey Hairpin:
Athletics: Big Island turnout expected at Manchester Marathon
Football: Colby stun defending champions in Hospital Cup
Rugby: Douglas beaten in Regional 2 North West play-offs
Spirited FC Isle of Man lose out at Padiham
Hockey: IoM Women's Over-45's set for EH Championship semi-final
