
The minister for social care says he will always take criticism on board and try to make improvements where needed.
Middle MHK Martyn Quayle is the current political head of the recently created department, having previously been the top man at home affairs and tourism.
However, on Mandate today (Monday) he was quick to quash suggestions that civil servants, rather than politicians, were running departments of the Manx government:
