A leading motorcycling journalist says the death of experienced TT competitor Victor Gilmore on Sunday could have a negative impact on Irish road racing.
The 42-year-old father of three from Ballymoney was involved in a collision in the Killalane road races and later died at Beaumount Hospital in Dublin.
Gilmore was a very popular rider in the paddock, competing in the TT, Manx Grand Prix and Southern 100.
