The flying Kiwi also set a new lap record for the class of 123.89 miles per hour as he came home ahead of James Hillier in second place.
Russ Mountford was third, just over a second and a half ahead of Steve Mercer.
Bruce told Chris Kinley it had been a incident free race for him.
The Formula 2 race, which was run at the same time, was won by Ian Lougher, with Chris Moore in second and Stuart Garton third.
