Manx Sport and Recreation is assuring parents, children and the wider community that the safeguarding of youngsters is taken very seriously.
It follows the high-profile stories of abuse in English Football and the ongoing investigations.
Since 2005 over 600 coaches and volunteers have attended safeguarding and protecting children workshops and passed a compulsory Police check.
Gianni Epifani from Manx Sport and Recreation says there are clear pathways in place for anyone wanting to report a concern.
