Club looking for volunteers old and new to help in 2025

Would you like to play a crucial role in road racing in the south of the Island this year?

The Southern 100 Club has now opened applications to become a marshal for the Pre-TT Classic Road Races and Southern 100 Road Races in 2025.

Officials describe volunteers as the 'backbone of the racing community' and are welcoming interest from both experienced and first-time personnel.

Next year marks the 70th anniversary of road racing on the Billown Course - the Pre-TT Classic Road Races will be the first of the two meetings from 23-25 May before the Southern 100 Road Races from 7-10 July.

Anyone who wants details on how to sign up is asked to contact Chief Marshal, Juan Crawley on 430 687 or by email on chiefmarshal@southern100.com.

Online training is also provided by the club.

Alternatively, information and online application forms can be found via the Southern 100 website.

Marshals must be 16 or over and those aged 16 to 18 must have parental consent for each race event.
