Sleights cement further success
The Sleights are continuing to cement their success in the world of archery.
Power couple and Bowderyn Vannin Field Archers Lesley and Rodger Sleight recently competed at a two-day National Field Archery Society Competition in Bedfordshire.
Lesley took Gold in the women's traditional bowhunter class with a score of 1158 and Rodger was placed 17th in the men's traditional bowhunter class with a score of 1124.
The weekend shoot for the Isle of Man Archers acted as a good warm up for the National field Archery Championships which will take place early October in Durham.
Anybody interested in trying field archery is asked to contact Rodger on ronague@manx.net
