Sleight, Sandilands and Angiolini all impress in Edinburgh
Three Isle of Man archers have enjoyed medal successes at the latest Scottish Indoor Archery Championships.
Lesley Sleight, John Angiolini and Rose Sandilands - all members of Bowderyn Field Archery Club and Isle of Man Archery Club - contested the event at Napier University in Edinburgh on Sunday, 18 January.
The trio claimed four medals between them with Sleight taking two open golds with a further gold medal apiece for both Angiolini and Sandilands.
Sleight - also a member of the English Field Archery Association - won both the adult female longbow class and the adult female traditional recurve class, the latter of those she won by a 28-point margin.
Elsewhere, Sandilands - a member of the Scottish Association - was crowned Scottish champion after taking top spot in the veteran freestyle unlimited compound class.
A strong display also from fellow Scottish Association member, Angiolini who went on to win the senior male freestyle compound class.
All three have team consideration scores to represent their respective countries at the IFAA European Indoor Championships in March.
