Islander wins final title of season
Isle of Man archer Lesley Sleight won the English Field Archery Association 3D Championships at the weekend.
Held near Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Leicestershire, 100 archers came to shoot the final Championships of the year.
Conditions were described as 'challenging' on Sunday as lingering fog made it very difficult to see the longer range targets.
However, Lesley managed to battle the weather to come through as the English 3D Champion in the adult traditional recurve class.
The indoor season now starts and Lesley will begin training in preparation for the Indoor Championships.
