Nigel Armstrong grabbed a win at Glen Lough in the second round of the Manx Gas Cross Country Challenge yesterday.
He passed Andy Fox and Gianni Epifani, who'd been well ahead at one point, to take the six-lap, nine kilometre race in 32.42.
Epifani finished just three seconds behind Armstrong in second place while Fox took third place from Berlin Marathon hero Ed Gumbley.
Gail Griffiths won the ladies' four lap race by almost a minute from Ann Cain, with Georgia Hoch a further 40 seconds back in third.
