
Manx athlete Gemma Astin has finished 13th in a field of 18 in the final of the 3,000 metres, held in scorching conditions at the stadium in Pune, India.
Two athletes collapsed from heat exhaustion during the race.
The top three athletes were from Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania.
Gemma's time was 10 minutes, 50.17 seconds.
