She'll now receive specialist treatment in London
Manx athlete Catherine Reid has surpassed her fundraising target as she attempts to recover from a long-term knee injury.
The 400m runner rose to prominence three years ago after a dominant performance at the Island Games and winning bronze at the IAAF World Youth Championships.
A GoFundMe page was then set-up as she sought help to help pay for surgery and cover the costs of seeing a specialist.
Reid's £8,500 target has now been met and she'll be heading to London for the treatment.
