The winners of the 2026 No Rest For The Wicked Series have been confirmed following the final race of this year's event.

Following six races in six days, James Read (five hours, one minute and 24 seconds) and Jayne Farquhar (six hours, 54 minutes and 20 seconds) have claimed the men's and women's full marathon titles respectively.

Meanwhile, Liam Parker (three hours, 29 minutes and six seconds) and Kirsty Barber (three hours, 52 minutes and 40 seconds) have scooped this year's half-marathon series top spots after a string of impressive individual performances.

Those final classifications were decided following the conclusion of the sixth and final race of the 2026 series - the seven-mile Peel Heritage Trail Race - which was held on Friday, 14 August.

On the night, Ryan Corrin claimed the men's and overall victory in the race in a time of 38 minutes and 43 seconds, followed by the eventual full marathon series winner, Read in second (39 minutes and 32 seconds).

Completing the men's and overall podium was Reggie Oasgood in third (39 minutes and 59 seconds).

Elsewhere, Kirsty Barber capped off a strong event overall by being the fastest female in the Peel Heritage Trail Race, crossing the line in 45 minutes and eight seconds.

Elena Caley (46 minutes and four seconds) and Becky Watterson (51 minutes flat) rounded out the women's top three.

Winner of the previous four women's races in the series - Christa Cain - was not involved in Friday's meeting.
