He was only competitor to clear 1.93 metres in Birmingham
Manx athlete Regan Corrin has secured a gold medal whilst taking part in the recent England Athletics U15 and U17 Championships in Birmingham.
Competing in the U17 Boys high jump final at Alexander Stadium at the weekend, Corrin - representing Manx Harriers - finished top of the leaderboard by clearing a distance of 1.93 metres.
He then made three attempts to clear the two-metre mark which were unsuccessful.
Behind Corrin were City of Sheffield and Dearne AC's Jack Oliver Holmes who managed a best of 1.90m with Andre Onyekwe of Leamington Athletics Academy taking third at 1.87m.
Earlier this summer, Corrin took gold in the men's high jump final at the 2023 Island Games in Guernsey at 1.95m with his Isle of Man teammate, James Margrave, winning silver in the same event.
