Athlete achieved previously unprecedented record in 2023
Manx athletics competitor Lorna Gleave says it was pleasing to find out she'd achieved an unprecedented treble of results in 2023.
Last year the race walker and runner became the first Isle of Man athlete to take victory in the Parish Walk, End2End Walk and Syd Quirk Half Marathon in a single calendar year.
She received the Sporting Achievement of the Year prize at the Isle of Man Sports Awards last week.
Gleave told Manx Radio she enjoys how accessible race walking and running is particularly around work and family commitments:
Football: Rushen beat 'old firm' rivals to progress in Hospital Cup
FC Isle of Man awarded win for abandoned Prestwich Heys match
Hockey: Castletown and Ramsey claim first silverware of cup finals
James Hillier's exciting new role at TT 2026
