Sienna Morrissey's claimed a silver medal in Sheffield
An Isle of Man record was broken at the the Northern Indoor Athletics Championships at the weekend (10-11 January).
Manx Harriers Sienna Morrissey ran just under five minutes and 30 seconds on her way to winning Silver medal in the U17 Women's 1500m in Sheffield.
Although Morrissey's achievement was the highlight of the weekend, the rest of the team impressed also in the UK.
Frankie Kennedy placed fourth in the U17 Women's High jump, and Sophie Kaighin leaped to a sixth place finish in the U17 Women's triple jump.
Issy Kennaugh reached the semi-final of both the 60m and 60m hurdles.
Meanwhile, Western AC's Rory Turner ran his first sub-minute 400m, clocking a time of 57.81 seconds.
