Manx duo enjoy strong races at Tilburg
Manx race walkers Neil Wade and Erika Kelly have enjoyed a successful outing at competition in Europe in the last week.
Both took part in the respective men's and women's races of the Dutch 20km Race Walking Championships held in Tilburg, Netherlands on Sunday (1 October).
Northern AC member Kelly took silver in the women's race despite suffering sickness with around 10km remaining at which point she had been leading the event.
Meanwhile, Wade of Manx Harriers - taking part in his first international contest - secured the bronze medal in the men's race.
It's already been an encouraging set of results for Kelly this year who took silver in the 3,000m race walk at the British Indoor Athletics Championships in Birmingham in February before rising to the top of the 10km race walk UK standings as of last month.
