It was a golden day for the Isle of Man's club athletes at Witton Park in Blackburn at the weekend in the Lancashire Cross Country Championships.
Eight medals in total were won by athletes representing Northern AC, Western AC and Manx Harriers, four of which were gold. This compares very favourably with previous years, and the medals came in age groups ranging from U11s to veterans.
Taking home gold were Eve Martin (WAC) in U11 Girls category, Eve got herself another gold alongside Bella Quaye, Megan Williamson, Mollie McMullan, and Elizabeth Clennell (All WAC runners) in the U11 Girls Team event, and Emma McMullan (MH) claimed the top spot in the Women's 40.
Course conditions were very muddy underfoot in places, really testing the strength and fitness of the athletes.
A full list of results can be found here and on the manx athletics Facebook page.
