Four local athletes called up for race in Spain next month
Isle of Man athletes make up the majority of the England race walking squad which will be in action next month.
England Athletics has confirmed a five-strong team to take on the World Athletics Race Walk Challenge in Madrid, Spain on Sunday, 31 May with four of those competitors being from the Island.
Erika Lockley (who'll competed under her previous surname of Kelly) is one of the two senior race walkers called up along with England's Cameron Corbishley, who has competed on the Isle of Man in previous years.
Meanwhile, it's an all-Manx roster in the junior section with Holly-Mae Davies, Tim Perry and Holly Salter set to be involved in the junior race.
The event in May will see Lockley and Corbishley involved in the senior race over 10km whilst the trio of Davies, Perry and Salter will take on the junior race over 5km.
