Manxman impresses in USA
Isle of Man athlete David Mullarkey has finished second in a 4.737 mile race in the US.
Competing in the Manchester Road Race in Connecticut, Mullarkey missed out on the win by only four seconds.
His time of 20 minutes, 58 seconds was not enough to beat 2024 Olympian and Kenyan athlete Edwin Kurgat.
However, the Manxman's time was the second fastest in the history of the event.
