20 year old record broken in Birmingham

Manx athlete Regan Corrin broke the Isle of Man high jump record at the weekend.

He jumped 2.19m at the British Indoor Championships in Birmingham on Sunday (15 February).

It breaks Martin Aram's record of 2.18 set at the 2006 commonwealth games in Melbourne.

Corrin also picked up the silver medal at the event, but fell short of gold after attempting a 2.22m jump.
