Manx competitor registers season best with podium finish
Manx athlete Tom Partington has secured a silver medal during recent competition in England.
The Island competitor contested the 3,000m men's race walk during the UK Athletics Indoor Championships in Birmingham on Sunday (18 February).
Representing Manx Harriers, he took second spot in a time of 13 minutes 4.21 seconds which was a season best.
Taking victory was Christopher Snook in a personal best time of 11 minutes 45.68 seconds whilst the final podium spot in third went to Luc Legon who crossed the line in 13 minutes 5.05 seconds.
