But organisers still looking for pacers and marshals to sign up
Big demand for one of the Isle of Man's popular long-distance events in November has meant entries have already had to close.
The Isle of Man Veteran Athletes' Club (IOMVAC) - the organisers of the event - says spaces for this year's Syd Quirk Half Marathon have sold out just nine days after opening.
However, IOMVAC adds anyone still interested in being involved in the event are invited to sign up as either pacers or marshals.
Those interested are being encouraged to get in touch on iomvaclub@yahoo.co.uk.
The 2023 Syd Quirk Half Marathon is scheduled to take place on Sunday, 19 November and will involve both run and walk events over half-marathon distance.
