It's the fastest GB athlete time in category since 2021
Manx athlete Sarah Webster took another commanding long-distance victory whilst competing out in eastern Europe earlier today (20 May).
The Northern AC runner took first place in 50k Romanian Championships in Timisoara in a time of three hours, 20 minutes and 21 seconds.
It's the fastest set by a UK athlete over that distance since 2021.
Webster's time also betters the qualifying standard required for the world 50km championships which are taking place in India in November.
