Team to take on static bike ride challenge this weekend
The Isle of Man's badminton squad for the 2025 Island Games has launched a fundraising campaign to support them at this year's event.
The team has announced it'll be challenging itself to a static bike ride between 9am and 6pm at The Roundhouse in Braddan this Sunday (29 June).
They're looking to cover 350 miles which is the equivalent of cycling from here to the games' destination in Orkney.
People are invited to donate to the cause whilst players - junior or senior - are invited to join in to help out with others also welcome to stop by and cheer on those taking up the challenge.
Anyone wishing to participate is asked to contact performance@iombadminton.com to be assigned a time slot.
Isle of Man Badminton Association announced in April that a ten-strong squad will be heading to the games which are being held from 12-18 July.
