Inaugural event will be held in Malta early next month
The Isle of Man badminton squad has learned the nations it will face at an inaugural international tournament taking place next month.
The Manx side is set to be involved in the first Small States of Europe Badminton Team Championships being held in Malta between 3-5 November at the Cottonera Sports Complex.
Following the draws for the group stage, it's been confirmed the Isle of Man will compete in Group B against Cyprus, Greenland and Iceland.
Countries will play each other in a round-robin format for the group phase followed by a play-off format which will be based on where each team finishes in their respective groups.
Meanwhile, Isle of Man Badminton Association is now on the lookout for any potential sponsors to help with the costs of taking part in the event.
Anyone interested in providing assistance is asked to contact the association directly.
