Basketball: Manx sides bound for Inter-Island series

Tournament being hosted by Ynys Môn later this month

The Isle of Man's national basketball teams will take part in an inter-island series later this month.

From 21-25 July, the Manx men's and women's squads will be part of the 2025 Inter-Island Games Basketball event being hosted by Ynys Môn.

Over the course of the five days, the men's side will take on the host nation along with Faroe Islands, Guernsey, Falkland Islands and Jersey.

Meanwhile, the women's squad will take on Faroe Islands twice as well as facing Ynys Môn and a North Wales side.

All matches will be played at Holyhead Leisure Centre.

The event as a whole will give all Island sides involved the chance to face one another in light of the fact that basketball has not been included as a sport in this year's Island Games in Orkney.
