Manx cyclist Jonny Bellis missed out on making the final of the Points Race at the World Cup meeting at the Sydney Velodrome in Australia.
Tenth place in the second heat of three meant he narrowly failed to qualify.
Meanwhile, Jonny has been invited to a week long Team CSC training camp in January, with a further course in August.
His GB coach Rod Ellingworth is quoted as saying - "They're quite keen to have him for a couple of seasons. There's no pre-contract or anything, they're just putting the feelers out there."
So, is another Manx rider about to follow Mark Cavendish into the pro ranks?
