The countdown is on to one of the largest sporting events of the year in the Isle of Man.
The Manx Youth Games takes place for the ninth time on May 8, and preparations are well under way for the gathering.
Community, Culture and Leisure Minister David Cretney is looking forward to the event, which he says is invaluable to the youngsters taking part.
He hopes many will go on to become the Island's sporting stars of the future:
